Dr. Johnson is a native of Lake Mary, FL. As one of the only Fellowship trained podiatrist in the Central Florida are, Dr.Johnson is an expert in treating injuries as well as congenital and acquired deformities of the foot, ankle and lower leg. After receiving his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine degree from Des Moines University, Dr. Johnson attended the prestigious West Penn Allegheny Health Network residency program of Pittsburgh, PA where he received three years of comprehensive training in all aspects of foot and ankle medicine and surgery. Following his residency training, he completed an additional year of fellowship training at the Paley Orthopedic and Spine Institute in West Palm Beach. During his fellowship, Dr. Johnson learned the latest surgical techniques for bone lengthening and minimally invasive surgery. He has presented his research at scientific meetings on the state and national level. Dr. Johnson Specializes in Sports injuries, Flat foot and high arch deformities, Minimally invasive bunion surgery, Metatarsal lengthening, and Diabetic foot disorders. He has a Bachelors of Science in Molecular Biology & Microbiology- University of Central Florida, Orlando, FL, and a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine – Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery, Des Moines, IA. He has advanced training at Foot and Ankle Surgical Residency- West Penn Hospital, Allegheny Health Network, Pittsburgh, PA as well as Foot and Ankle Deformity Correction Fellowship at the Paley Orthopedic and Spine Institute/ St. Mary’s Medical Center, West Palm Beach, FL. Dr. Johnson provides comprehensive foot and ankle care. Outside of the office he enjoys spending time in the great Florida outdoors with his wife, daughter and their dog.
